In the picture there are 2 items that you will always find in my handbag no matter where we go. One is obviously some knitting, I'm knitting a milo for the youngest at the moment. The other is a bottle of rescue remedy. Rescue remedy is a flower remedie a vibrational medicine discovered by Dr Edward Bach. He found that 38 plants and trees (& rock water) had energies that vibrated in such a way to they enabled us to shift blocks in our system to achieve greater well being. The first time I experienced flower remedies was when I was about 8 years old. They had been recomended to my mum by a friend, so she bundled us in the car and we drove for a good 45 minutes (in Netherland you are nearly halfway trough the country by this point) to meet this "flowerlady". We had to go upstairs in a normal semi detached house to a little room which held a tiny desk a comfy chair and a lot of books and plants. The whole experience had something magical to it for me and that one experience was the start into a different world for me, though I did not realise it at the time. Rescue remedy contains 5 of Dr Bach's remedies, Rock rose, Impatiens, Cherry plum, Star of Bethlehem and Clematis. It is there for moments where you need a helping hand but where there is no time to choose a individual remedy. I have it in my bag for those little accidents we have often. Last week I was glad to have it when we where out for a walk and after taking a bite from his apple a tooth from my eldest twisted in its socket. It had been wobbly for awhile but this caused some discomfort and kicked some anxiety into action for him. They know when to ask for it. Its always available but only certain occasions they ask for the assistance of Rescue Remedy and when they do I notice a difference pre I'm really glad to have found this remedy, have you experienced it? 2 Comments |
