So very much to be thankful for! The past couple of weeks have been a reminder of how short and unpredictable life can be and to be thankful every day of your life. Here only a fraction of what I am thankful for.

I am thankful for:
life
Guardian angels
Sunday night rain washing away the tension of that day
The wind blowing autumn into its place
Chickens who have laid their first egg
My little family of hot headed lions
New drums
and new iphones
Cockerals first crow
freedom
a growing collection of feathers
hedgerows full of food
windplucked apples
journeys
and meeting friends you didn't know you had
unexpected trees
going barefoot
new floors
the right table for our kitchen
Generosity of complete strangers
songs from the 60's
and slightly newer ones
finding the right solution totally by accident
the internet and being able to talk to family on the other side of the world

Right now I am thankful for:
Friends winning battles
Beautiful fleeces delivered to the door

happy chicks in the garden
Cards from far away
smelly cats that hide in previously mentioned fleece
New (to me) willow baskets
2nd hand book stores
perfect timing
Understanding
Goddesses who push you just enough
patient friends who explain it all to you
big fluffy duvaits
sleepy babycuddles (I know they are no longer babies but they are my babies)
Tea in bed
creativity and old bedframes

rain on one side

and sunshine on the other side of our garden
little bells
fresh crusty bread with buttery spread
health
telephone and international calls
tiny apples growing on our tree
frogs surprising you when you pick some herbs
circles and what they teach and learning the are really spirals in disguise
generousity and a filled up freezer

Oracle kids that teach their cars the cards
peaceful meditation
knitting

and blue wool
sandpits
willowtree hideouts
