This week I started to prepare for winter. We live in a small house in a generally very wet part of the world. Living troughout the winter cooped up with 3 boys can be somewhat nervewracking! So this year I figured I expand the idea of an advent calender into a start of spring calendar. I have started to collect activities for the kids to do indoors that I can prepare before hand that are generally low budget and easy enough for everyone to join in. Some activities will help us prepare for a certain festival and some will have an educational element but all are meant to be fun.

I am currently thinking which day I want to start and end the spring advent and how I turn something that could end up being 6 months long into a calendar. Pallets and washpegs have come to mind!
